The Democratic Party is Failing ON PURPOSE:
“Moderate” Democrats secretly agree with Donald Trump’s agenda to eliminate Medicaid, reduce taxes, and increase the national debt.

On Friday, July 4th, US President Donald Trump celebrated the chaotic start of his second term in the White House with an Independence Day signing ceremony of his “One Big Beautiful Bill” (OBBB), the key policy initiatives of his new administration.
The OBBB enshrines much of the Trump administration’s “Project 2025” agenda into law and is praised by national Republicans (GOP) and their mainstream media supporters as a significant policy victory.
Congressional Democrats and a few select Republicans have heavily criticized the OBBB’s deep spending cuts to Medicaid and federal social welfare programs. The legislation also includes tax cuts for wealthy Americans, increased spending on immigration enforcement, and the US military.

During his first term, from 2016 to 2021, President Trump and his congressional allies in the GOP sought to undermine federal health care access by relentlessly seeking to repeal the Affordable Care Act (ACA or “Obamacare”), which had expanded health insurance coverage to millions.
Though outright repeal efforts failed, Mr. Trump’s administrative actions did weaken key provisions of the ACA. With the OBBB, the Trump administration has found a way to move toward finally repealing the ACA by attacking Medicaid.
Trump’s “big, beautiful bill” will lead to:
Reduced access to health insurance for low-income individuals and Americans with pre-existing conditions
Increased disparities in health outcomes based on geography, race, and income
Greater emphasis on short-term plans and health savings accounts in the private health insurance industry, which will not provide comprehensive coverage to US citizens.

The OBBB is not the beginning of the Trump administration’s attacks on public health in the United States, and it will not be the end.
The deep federal cuts and mass layoffs of civil service workers by Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) have already reduced America’s public health bureaucracy to a shadow of its former self, threatening to undermine even routine health work and public research. Furthermore, the dismantling of the country’s public health system is occurring amid the deadliest measles outbreak since the 1990s, increasing cases of whooping cough, and the potential for bird flu to spread extensively among Americans.
What is worse is that Congressional Democrats and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) seem unable, or more likely are unwilling, to offer their constituents and independent voters an alternative comprehensive policy agenda to “MAGA” Trumpism and Project 2025.
In fact, most national “moderate” Democrats are as determined as some Republicans to reduce national support for federal programs that address social determinants of health, such as housing, education, and nutrition.

Think back to the year 2021, after former President Joe Biden’s victory over Donald Trump during the 2020 presidential election.
Mr. Biden and his administrative team created and proposed the original “BBB” policy agenda, his comprehensive “Build Back Better” federal legislative agenda. The so-called “moderates” in the Democratic Party, such as Senators Joe Manchin (WV), Kyrsten Sinema (AZ), and Representative Josh Gottheimer (NJ), undermined the progressive aspects of Mr. Biden’s domestic policy agenda in 2021.
The political gridlock eventually gave the national Republican Party a big lead in public opinion polls, leading up to the 2022 midterm elections. Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger (D-VA), the current Democratic Party nominee for governor of Virginia, also played a vital role in blocking Biden’s domestic agenda in 2021.
The DNC, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), and the Democratic Governors Association (DGA) are grooming Representative Spanberger as one of the party’s future national leaders for the 2026 and 2028 election cycles.

Make no mistake, even after the passage of President Donald Trump’s “OBBB,” the “MAGA” controlled GOP will soon be seeking more cuts to Medicaid and other federal social welfare programs.
The millionaire and pro-billionaire faction of the US electorate also wants more tax cuts. What “moderate” congressional Democratic frontliners don’t want anyone to notice is that they are supporting this pro-corporate national policy agenda.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), Senator Elissa Slotkin (D-MI), House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, and Abigail Spanberger have nothing to say about the corporate lobbyists and large “dark” money donors currently influencing the US electoral system.
They are all the current versions of 2021’s “moderate” obstructionists, such as Joe Manchin, Kyrsten Sinema, and Josh Gottheimer.
Circumstantial and speculative but yeah, their actions don’t align with their words.
