Arguing for more authoritarianism? When the heck did the progressive liberals and far-left marxist types all start falling prey to the belief that American's are so dumb and incapable of personal autonomy, that we should sign over more rights to the state? The irony of a public arm of the civilian public health lobby warning of the danger's in distributing propaganda, is one of the most humorous things I've seen in a while. "Water crisis" 🙄 Riiiiight. Funny that you mention the Pearl River Indian reservation flood, as if its a humanitarian catastrophe or something. In the entire region, the population is around 3,000. You could have even mentioned the ongoing polluted water of Flint Michigan, or East Palestine Ohio, who's people are dropping dead like flys and loosing legitimate civil cases against the corrupt corporations responsible. But no single publicly funded, political lobbying organization is more committed to propagating misleading, fear mongering disinformation, than that of "Public Health" sector.

Um, so what is your solution to the public health emergencies happening in East Palestine, Ohio, and Flint Michigan, genius? I bet it is more corporate led "private - public partnerships" that are the foundation of the problems that are afflicting local communities and the US infrastructure. Also, "only around 3,000" is an inane argument for the lack of drinkable and potable water effecting a whole region - IF your numbers are correct and not just pulled out of the ether. Finally, IF you care so much about Flint, Michigan, AND East Palestine, Ohio - write and post your OWN article, Einstein. Regards, -PHPR.

First, you pretty much lose all credibility when you use phrases like "far-left marxist types" as you reveal a complete lack of understanding of the meaning of those words. Second, I don't see any point in this article where he's arguing for authoritarianism or the losing of any rights. Third, as PHPR pointed out already in his response, you offer no better ideas so I'm left to assume you're of the South Park mentality. "Nothing matters, everything is stupid and no one should care about anything or try to improve anything." It's just cynical whining, intended to push political lethargy. Bad news for YOU and everyone else on that front... if you think these things are bad, doing nothing will net INFINITELY worse results.
